Our lives can be made much easier when multitabling with the use of a few pieces of handy software. It can be a challenge keeping up to speed with the game when playing lots of tables and therefore any help we can get the better.
Table optimizer is the first software package I think is a great help. This piece of software will remove almost all of the unnecessary borders and pixels on your table for the website PokerStars. Check it out here https://www.tableoptimizer.com/
Another helpful peice of software is of course table ninja.
“TableNinja will simplify and accelerate every aspect of your poker experience, by automatically opening tables, managing wait lists, computing bet sizes, managing sit-n-go registration, handling your time bank, providing hotkeys, and so much more. ”
Stack and tile is also a great peice of software which takes care of all the unimportant aspects of your poker game for you.
“The StackAndTile software will move and organize your poker tables around your screen. It allows you to only focus on the tables that are important, while the un-important tables are moved out of the way and “off your radar”. One software, for all sites.”

Win big at the tables
This is the simplest way to multi-tabling,. You basically just stack the the tables next to each other until all of the space on your screen is gone! The benefit of tiling is that you can see all of the tables at once and it is easier to keep track of everything that is happening! However, it can be difficult to play lots of tables as each new table reduces the size of the others.
Stacking is when each table is placed on top of one another. This means that you can have tables which are as large as you like. However, the main issue with this method is that it can be very difficult to keep track of all of the tables when each one doesn’t have it’s own set position. The main benefit of this method is that you save screen space.
Cascade is much like stacking. Although each of the corners can be seen of each table. If you urgently need to access a particular table you can click it and bring it to the front of the your screen.Similar to stacking, cascading can be difficult to keep track of the action when playing.
So there are the main ways you can play more than one table. Try them all and then take your pick of your favorite!

Have a look at the other post which gives some tips for multitabling!
Here are some quick tips you can follow to improve your multi-tabling:
- Only play cash games or tournaments or sit and goes. Playing one game type when multi-tabling is already difficult. Don’t make life more complicated by playing various game types at the same time.
- If you begin mis-clicking remove tables. You are probably becoming tired and playing a couple less tables will be a good choice. If you are constantly mis-clicking and timing out you need to drop the number of tables permanently.
- As always avoid distractions. You might need a page blocker for this! The very last thing you should be doing is playing 10+ tables with Facebook open.
- Turn off chat feature. The chat feature is just a distraction and a way for your opponents to put you off your game. Don’t lose focus when someone writes something, just turn it off which will allow you to concentrate more effectively.
- Pay attention to avatars. Some have said that these are a distraction and should be turned off; but I personal feel they help me recognize players. This allows you to remember strategic adjustments needed to make for each player.

Win big at the tables
We all want to be able to play lots and lots of poker tables effectively; but that is easier said than done. What we have to do is to come up a with a good strategy to accomplish effective and efficient multitabling so that we can maximize our results and ultimately make the most money.
So how do we do that?
Well to first understand how to effectively multi tabling we must first understand why multi tabling works so well. One of the most important considerations when deciding to multi table is the effect of rake – the more rake we pay when playing poker the more rakeback we will get and the more profit we will generate.
The effect of rake is covered in the multitabling guide by HowToPlayPokerInfo.com – basically, rake will increase the number of tables we can profitability play because the each table added on, and the more hands we play, the more money that will be generated through rakeback. Rakeback is basically an additional stream of income which allows us to play more tables profitably.
This is one of the primary reasons for choosing to multi-table – and this is why there are so many rakeback nits playing – because it is profitable, well sorta. It’s not recommend that you play lots of tables and become nitty (tight player who plays very few hands). This is an easy strategy to play against. Not only that, it is a pretty boring strategy to play in itself. You will want to be playing a Lag or Tag style of play which means playing a large or medium amount of hands quite aggressively.
So how do we effectively multitable?
We need to make nearly all our decisions automatic. This allows us to speed up our decision making process and ultimately make more decisions in a shorter amount of time. Blackrain79 covers this well in his guide. The way to make our decisions automatic is to make sure we have a good understanding of our preflop opening, calling and 3betting ranges. This can be performed by manually writing out all of our ranges in an organised manner which we can then reference in game until we know then off by heart. If we can do this, we will only be thinking about a small fraction of our preflop decisions and this will allow us to play more effectively and play more tables.
In addition, we must also look to speed up our decision making by reducing the number of of clicks and mouse movements. We can do that through pokerstars in some case but on other poker rooms we may need additional software. This will be covered in a later article.
So there you have it. How you can play more hands more effectively. First, understand why we are multitabling, then learn off your ranges and finally use some software (covered in later article).

Win big at the tables
Multi-tabling is the simple act of playing more than one table of poker. Obviously that is impossible when playing live, however, when playing online you can play up to 24 at a time!
See how it is done with this great tutorial here:
Multi-tabling can increase your winrate by a factor of two or three if done right. After all, very few players currently play only one table online unless you are completely new to the game.
See how Nanonoko, a professional poker player, plays up to 24 tables at once:
Hopefully this blog will be able to give you some insights into how to multitable better than everyone else.
